BUDDAH'S TOP 15 J. GEILS BAND SONGS
1. Freeze Frame - It's typical upbeat Geils sound with a slight funk meets pop style. It put them even more on the map in 1981.
2. Centerfold - This is a great story of a high school crush. Also from the Freeze Frame record.
3. Must Of Got Lost - Peter Wolf drags this out in live performances. My favorite tune of theirs from the 70's decade.
4. Comeback - They show how complete they are as a band, instrumentally on this rockin' piece.
5. Give It To Me - It's got a bluesy feel with a horn section vibe. A classic cut from 1973.
6. I Do -. Here's a song that I always liked. But it has grown on me even more in recent years.
7. Looking For a Love - Listen to it live. That's the best way to appreciate this gem. This song was made for Peter Wolf to belt it out in his singing style.
8. Flamethrower - Another solid cut from the Freeze Frame album. It's lost it's radio play over the years, but I still dig it.
9. Love Stinks - This song's appeal has slid a bit downward for me. I still love it. A staple tune.
10. This high energy beauty has a distinctive sound all it's own. A catchy jam, indeed.
11. Angel In Blue - The closest thing to a ballad they do that I like. Enough said.
12. Night Time - Another tune with that groovin' bluesy sound. It's music like this that make them just a fun band to listen too over and over.
13. One Last Kiss - I don't know why this isn't more popular. It's their hidden, underrated track.
14. Piss On The Wall - I can't think of a more weird, yet likeable tune this side of Brownsville Station's Martian Boogie.
15. It's a well rounded tune that is unmistakably the J. Geils Band. Another fine live cut too.
UNDERRATED SONG: Teresa - I dunno who she is, but I am way into her song.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH SONG: Whammer Jammer - Strong blues flavor here. It's one more solid and great live jam. Give it a listen.
OVERRATED SONG: Til The Walls Come Tumbling Down - If this don't sound like the Stray Cats I don't know what does. Thumbs down, but it's not horrible either.
ALBUM TO LISTEN TO: I could go with one of about 4-5 from this band. Freeze Frame wins!

BUDDAH'S TOP 15 DAVID BOWIE SONGS
1. Fame.....Reached #7 on the U.S. charts and was co-written by....wait for it....John Lennon.
2. Rebel Rebel.....Claimed to be his farewell to glam rock movement which he helped pioneer.
3. Heroes.....Was an instant like for me. However, it wasn't originally a huge hit.
4. Suffragette City.....One of those songs that sells it on it's sound alone.
5. Young Americans.....A great tune that reached #28 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1975.
6. Let's Dance.....Danceable? Sure. But did you know Stevie Ray Vaughan did the guitar solo?
7. China Girl.....I was really into this gem when it was released back in the day.
8. Changes.....One of his best-know stuttering songs.
9. Golden Years.....One of his biggest early hits. The guy had a talented voice.
10. Modern Love.....According to Bowie, it was inspired by non other than...Little Richard.
11. Ziggy Stardust.....I really like the guitars on this solid pick.
12. The Jean Genie.....A funky bluesy groove called by Bowie "a smorgasbord of imagined Americana".
13. The Man Who Sold the World.....It's a popular cover tune. R.E.M. did it nicely.
14. Blue Jean.....It's one of only two songs written by Bowie from the "Tonight" album.
15. Under Pressure (w/Queen).....Nailed it just fine.
UNDERRATED SONG: The Next Day.....An upbeat tune from the self titled and 24th studio album.
OVERRATED SONG: Space Oddity.....I will make enemies of Bowie fans everywhere for dissing his signature song, but I never liked the lyrics.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Ashes to Ashes.....It's weird and references previous songs.
ALBUM TO LISTEN TO: He's made plenty of music over the years, yet I have never, ever bought a Bowie Album. He is an acquired musical taste. If I were to buy one it would be "Let's Dance" from the eighties.

BUDDAH'S TOP 15 CREAM SONGS
1. Crossroads.....Some of the greatest guitar work on any rock and roll song...ever.
2. White Room.....Could have easily landed in the #1 spot. It was a toss up.
3. Sunshine of Your Love.....Possibly their best written song.
4. Badge.....I can never get enough of this gem.
5. Strange Brew.....It's the first track from "Disraeli Gears" and a fan favorite.
6. I Feel Free.....The classic beginning makes it very catchy. From the album "Fresh Cream".
7. I'm So Glad.....Their song that should have gotten more respect. You'll still recognize it.
8. Deserted Cities of the Heart.....Lyrically good all the way.
9. Toad.....It just has a nice beat. And a Ginger Baker drum solo is the icing on this.
10. Tales of Brave Ulysses.....It starts out slow, but builds with that typical Cream sound.
11. Spoonful.....Jack Bruce on vocals is not as good as Clapton, yet still a solid tune.
12. Born Under a Bad Sign.....Clapton's guitar practically sings along with him.
13. N.S.U......A perfect blend of guitars and melody.
14. Sitting On Top Of the World.....Good stuff, including guitar riffs. Very sixties.
15. Sweet Wine.....It's just okay for me and barely gets the nod.
UNDERRATED SONG: Outside Woman Blues.....Clapton belts it out blues style with plenty of bass guitar.
OVERRATED SONG: Politician.....I don't like politics anyway.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Cat's Squirrel.....Very bluesy and instrumental.
ALBUM TO LISTEN TO: It's nearly to close to not be a tie. But I am choosing "Disraeli Gears" over "Wheels of Fire".
