1. Heart of Rock and Roll.....It was born an instant classic.
2. I Want a New Drug.....One that won't make me feel three feet thick. Great line!
3. Heart and Soul.....At times, Huey seems to be a throw back to the 60's with his style.
4. If This Is It.....Doo woppy sound.
5. Jacob's Ladder.....I 'm sure I like this more than anyone else making HL & N list.
6. Hip To Be Square.....It's not too hip of a song, but I dig it.
7. Walking on a Thin Line.....It's a more serious song about war.
8. Workin' For a Livin'.....The blue collar tune.
9. Back in Time.....From the movie "Back to the Future. You know it.
10. Do You Believe In Love.....Huey sings this one as well as any tune he ever put out.
11. Couple Days Off.....One of my theme songs. A typical upbeat Huey and the News jam.
12. Power of Love.....Another gem from the "Back to the Future" flicks.
13. Stuck With You.....Yet, one more song that has a throw back feel.
14. Doin' It All (For My Baby).....A single that peaked at #6 on the charts in 1987.
15. Hope You Love Me Like You Said You Do.....A very early grooving hit found on the "Picture This" album from 1982.
tie: Perfect World.....It's too fine to leave off the list.
UNDERRATED SONG: I Know What I Like.....A very underrated cut.
OVERRATED SONG: Trouble In Paradise.....It's a bit troubling for me.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Bad Is Bad.....In this case bad is good. Great beat.
ALBUM TO LISTEN TO: He had a nice run in the 80's with "Fore" and "Picture This". However, no album quite touches "Sports" and that is my pick.
Sorry, man. If I had 20 tunes it would be there.
