BUDDAH'S TOP 15 ROBERT PLANT SONGS

  1. Big Log.....One of his first solo efforts I recall. It obviously stuck with me.
  2. Burning Down One Side.....A lot of his stuff has a Zeppelin flavor. None more than this.
  3. Little By Little.....Might have been his biggest radio hit.
  4. Big Love.....The drum work is solid on this tune.
  5. Tall Cool One.....My wife loves this song. Not too shabby.
  6. In the Mood.....I like the tempo building up the music.
  7. Heaven Knows.....Good lyrics by a great classic rock artist.
  8. Pledge Pin.....More of that great Led Zeppelin sound is found here.
  9. Other Arms.....Great guitar play and words.
10. Slow Dancer.....In places it reminds me of Zep's No Quarter song.
11. Worse Than Detroit.....It's a great upbeat sound.
12. Like I've Never Been Gone.....He shows his singing roots on this nice cut.
13. Calling to You.....It's a cool gem from the "Fate of Nations" album.
14. 29 Palms.....Because 28 palms just isn't enough. You'll recognize it.
15. Fat Lip.....It's funky yet a little sexy. Hey, it's my list.

UNDERRATED SONG: Hurting Kind (I've Got My Eyes on You).....I almost forgot this beauty.
OVERRATED SONG: Ship of Fools.....I liked it better when it was released than I do today. And it's too damned slow for me.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Dirt in a Hole.....It has a different sound for a Plant tune, but it's a groovy listen full of good lyrics.
ALBUM TO LISTEN TO: I definitely prefer his early solo stuff. That's why I selected "Pictures at Eleven". It contains six songs found on my list.
