BUDDAH'S TOP 15 CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL SONGS

  1. Fortunate Son.....It's only downfall is it has that Vietnam stigma attached to it.
  2. Bad Moon Rising.....One of the songs that got me into them as a youngster.
  3. Who'll Stop the Rain.....Good rainy day or sunny day tune.
  4. Up and Around the Bend.....John Fogerty has a distinctive voice, for sure.
  5. Green River.....Somehow, I never remembered hearing this until the 80's.
  6. Have You Ever Seen the Rain?.....They should have written more songs about rain.
  7. Run Through the Jungle.....It's a catchy classic little diamond of a song.
  8. Down on the Corner.....Howdy in the street cracks me up.
  9. Travelin' Band.....A signature song by some groovy 60's hippies.
10. Born on the Bayou.....Ragin' Cajun flavor.
11. Lookin' Out My Back Door.....Only song known with a reference to my home state, Illinois.
12. Proud Mary.....Sorry, Ike and Tina, this one's a smidge better.
13. Heard it Through the Grapevine.....Yeah, I think California raisins too.
14. Sweet Hitch-hiker.....Surprised this wasn't a bigger hit.
15. Suzy Q.....An early hit for these boys.

UNDERRATED SONG: Hey Tonight.....I believe it is nearly as good as my last 12.
OVERRATED SONG: Midnight Special.....It's a little too twangy, folksy for me.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Commotion.....I have to admit, I found this and barely remember it. DAMN SIXTIES!
ALBUM TO LISTEN TO: It doesn't have my top 2 songs on it but I am going with "Cosmo's Factory". It's a solid pick.
