1. Band on the Run.....A number one song in 1973 for 8 weeks speaks for itself.
2. Live and Let Die.....A James Bond soundtrack jam...and a dandy.
3. Jet.....A great cut from that highly successful "Band on the Run" album.
4. Listen to What the Man Said.....The man was right. Nice tune. Nice lyrics.
5. With a Little Luck.....Good luck was the luck he had with this pick.
6. Nineteen Hundred Eighty Five.....A song about the future? Great piano skills and singing.7. Uncle Albert Haisley.....Story time about some dude's uncle Al.
8. Rock Show.....A tribute song to rock and roll shows.
9. Maybe I'm Amazed.....It's nearly too mellow for me, but the lyrics are solid.
10. Let Me Roll It.....Starts out like a slow song from the 50's...then the guitars kick in. Stellar.
11. Hi , Hi, Hi.....Simple as hell, but it somehow shines bright.....or is he just speaking of getting high?
12. Coming Up.....Good McCartney song, with horns to boot.
13. Dance Tonight.....Guess what? This guy is as a talented song writer as there ever was.
14. Another Day.....Another day, another hit tune.
15. Let 'Em In.....Has a marching band flavor and a prominent trumpet mid way thru.
tie: Goodnight Tonight.....A blast from 1979. Listen. You'll immediately recognize it.
UNDERRATED SONG: Helen Wheels.....Although widely well know, I think it's really one of his top 5 songs.
OVERRATED SONG: Silly Love Songs.....The title alone allows me say no more.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Junior's Farm.....I think it gets more radio airwave time today than it ever did in the 70's. It's one of my favorites so much it would have landed at #4 had I not threw it in here.
ALBUM TO LISTEN TO: I never found any vinyl record of his...and I tried...that is better than "Band on the Run".
