1. After Midnight.....One of his songs that drew me to him as a solo artist.
2. Layla (unplugged).....In a word, the unplugged version is...sexy.
3. Cocaine.....Never tried it, but I am into the song.
4. She's Waiting.....Many don't give him credit, but he is a decent singer.
5. Forever Man.....I think its easily one of his best cuts.
6. I Can't Stand It.....Oh my, the classic Clapton guitar.
7. Pretending.....Still a radio favorite, and rightfully so.
8. Bad Love.....Bad love, good rockin' song.
9. No Alibis.....Nice lyrics, right here, from the "Journeyman" album.
10. It's in the Way That You Use It.....From "The Color of Money" soundtrack.
11. Wonderful Tonight.....One of my slow dance with the wife songs. It's a beauty.
12. Let It Rain.....Holy guitars! Why didn't I rank this tune higher?
13. I've Got a Rock and Roll Heart.....Nice song from the "Money & Cigarettes" album.
14. Promises.....It's a great little slowed down tune full of great words. Listen to it.
15. Lay Down Sally.....One of his very early hits, and deserves respect in any top 15 list.
tie...Miss You.....I liked it the moment I heard it on the "August" record.
UNDERRATED SONG: Before You Accuse Me (Take a Look at Yourself).....It has some of his blues roots in it.
OVERATED SONG: Change the World...Again, another song that's just too slow for my musical taste.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Tearing Us Apart.....A great rockin' duo with non other than Tina Turner. Honorable mentions to See What Love Can Do and Roll It.
ALBUM TO LISTEN TO: I am really a fan of the 80's Clapton albums. "Journeyman" and "August" were solid. But, "Behind the Sun" takes the prize.
