  BUDDAH'S TOP 15 R.E.O. SPEEDWAGON SONGS

  1. Time For Me to Fly.....So good it's in my top 50 from the 70's.
  2. Meet Me on the Mountain.....Why, oh why wasn't this a hit? It's a beauty.
  3. Roll With the Changes.....An obvious go to REO song for this fan.
  4. Back on the Road Again.....It is raw and rocking. From the "Nine Lives" album.
  5. Ridin' the Storm Out.....Only listen to the live version...and with a headset.
  6. Keep Pushin'.....A song to live by. Might be the song that drew me to them.
  7. Only the Strong Survive.....I saw the Nine Lives tour in Springfield. This tune was solid.
  8. Keep on Loving You.....I had to squeak in a ballad sooner or later.
  9. Heavy on Your Love.....Heavy on the guitars.
10. Don't Let Him Go.....An 80's hit for the ages.
11. Take it on the Run.....Kevin Cronin can belt out the tunes with the best of them.
12. Golden Country.....Gary Richrath's song to outshine the rest of the band.
13. Say You Love Me Or Say Goodnight.....An early hit featuring their signature keyboards.
14. Like You Do.....I dig this oldie. Should have been a much bigger hit song, from the R.E.O. T.W.O. album.
15. Runnin' Blind.....These guys are collectively skilled and just gel together.
tie: Unidentified Flying Tuna Trot....Quite the instrumental tune. And Cronin is a top notch piano player.

UNDERRATED SONG: Blazin' Your Own Trail Again.....It's just a great melody.
OVERRATED SONG: 157 Riverside Avenue.....I only hear the live version which Kevin Cronin quickly gets on your nerves. He talks too much.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Stillness of the Night.....A gem from the "Good Trouble" album.
ALBUM TO LISTEN TO: I listened to them all! Therefore, not an easy pick. "I tore up the "Nine Lives" cassette. The live album was solid. "High Infidelity" was a great 80's listen. But the one I always enjoy most is "You Can Tune a Piano But You Can't Tune a Fish".
