BUDDAH'S TOP 15 JACKSON BROWNE SONGS

  1. Runnin' on Empty.....It's his absolute best effort. Period.
  2. Stay.....A real good story from a real good artist.
  3. The Pretender.....Released in 1976 and still going strong 40 years later.
  4. Doctor My Eyes.....The song that made me a fan. Never tire of hearing it.
  5. Boulevard......Classic lyrics combined with nice guitar riffs.
  6. That Girl Could Sing.....An 80's hit that just dig a lot. That guy could sing too.
  7. Somebody's Baby.....Wrote for the Fast Times at Ridgemont High soundtrack, I believe.
  8. Tender is the Night.....Showing his even mellower side.
  9. The Load-out.....Great piano and vocals on a classic released in 1977's "Runnin' on Empty".
10. Hold Out.....Great title track from a  damn good album.
11. Knock on Any Door.....It's a long forgotten single found on the "Lawyers in Love" record.
12. For a Rocker.....It's the last track on the aforementioned album.
13. In the Shape of a Heart.....The guy has a knack for cutting a decent ballad.
14. Lives in the Balance.....Another slower tune from Jackson.
15. For America.....It's a gem and the opening song on the "Lives in the Balance" album.

UNDERRATED SONG: Looking East.....For about 10 years or so Jackson Browne was on fire as a song writer. Prime example, right here.
OVERRATED SONG: Lawyers in Love.....It's just gay as hell. There, I said it.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Disco Apocalypse.....The title alone should make you curious enough to listen.
ALBUM TO LISTEN TO: It's gotta be.....drum roll....."Hold Out"!
